Naomi is a Whitstable-based artist who’s work has the natural world at its heart, from detailed drawings and brooding paintings to evocative photos of abandoned buildings.

Paintings, collages, and constructions often using found objects and ephemera both natural and manmade gleaned from a North Norfolk beach, markets, and book stalls. The reinterpretation of discarded items, their history, and my memories of where I found them have been crucial to my thoughts over this last year of uncertainty.

Estuaries, creeks and salt flats:  the edge of the known world.  As a photographer,  I would explore these lonely places, attempting to capture their silent emptiness.
