            A smorgasbord of treasures! Sculptural embellishments and collage meet in an exciting mash-up of weirdly wonderful creations. Featuring not only errant Victorians in surprising situations, but also lamps, textiles, an embellished birdcage, feathers and more to tickle your fancy!

          I work loosely. I like to experiment, responding to what the paint is doing. I am excited by vibrant colour, transparency and the intensity of mood and mystery that can be delivered with paint.

    I am motivated to paint by my wonderful rural surroundings. I am fortunate to live in a beautiful village which is surrounded by rolling hills, farms and woodland. These together with a pretty cottage garden inspire my paintings. This exhibition mainly consists of my most recent paintings which are all oil on canvas. Micky Motley MA (Fine Art)

A joint exhibition of Photography by Matthew and Paintings and Collage from Roberta. Central to Matthew’s work is the importance of storytelling and the social connections this opens up. Simon Holland is exhibiting an eclectic body of work ranging from intricate landscape drawings through to abstract expressionistic explorations of the Dungeness headland. Two Whitstable-based artists exhibiting work in a variety of media responding to the world around them: whether the local wildlife and coastline or striking images from their travels. Local artist Sarah is best known for her drawings of music and style icons and works primarily in graphite to create intricate and very detailed drawings.  Sheila Miller, Lizzy Verier, Caroline Brooks, Olga Taylor, Debbie Bell and one or two other friends, who share a passion for using found and waste items in their art, will exhibit pictures, sculptures, jewellery and cards made from used coffee capsules, sea glass, fused glass, feathers and other upcycled materials.
