Martin Hyde "Painting has been a major help to me for keeping sane during the pandemic. The great outdoors has offered itself up in a way that is even more important to me than ever. Time has been more at a standstill, and I have tried to capture a sense of that stillness in my painting."
Lisa Hawkins My paintings are a response to the natural world, whether directly from observation, or from memory. They alternate between figuration and abstraction and are often transformed in the imagination.
