This year’s paintings marks a new beginning for me as an artist. I wanted to start my year with brightness and vitality and I hope I have achieved that. Two local artists reflect the ever-changing light & colours of our Whitstable coastline. Lindsay creates highly original felt artwork and housewares as well as limited edition coastal  photos. Irene’s beautiful fused glass includes wall mounted and freestanding art pieces alongside one-off platters, coasters and other homewares. 

Watercolour, mixed media and in oils. Inspiration is drawn from visual experience, from imagination and from memory. She is captivated by the many effects in the different media, the transparency and light of watercolour, the textures and glazes of acrylics and the depth and richness of oil paint.
