13 – 19 May – A DIFFERENT ANGLE The thing is this. None of us see the world in the same way. To communicate with each other we have given things names. We know if someone offers us an apple they won’t give us a pear. If someone shouts FIRE! we know there is danger. Beyond this no-one really comes close to knowing how each individual experiences the world. To explain in words is beyond most of us, better to look at people’s actions. Set six writers, composers, sculptors or artists the same theme and the results will all be very different. Surprising, challenging, beautiful, funny, sad maybe, but different. A clue to the different angle we all take on life.
