Spindrift is a group of six Whitstable artists who came together after lockdown to meet and draw, share ideas, and occasionally exhibit together. This exhibition will be the group’s third in as many years.
We usually plan our exhibitions around a theme and prepare work towards that end. This year, we decided on the theme of Near and Far, which reflects our travels as well as domestic observations. The theme also describes the lens through which we are observing our subjects, either standing back or honing in on detail.
