Marion Lynn and friends

Marion Lynn has been drawing and painting since she could hold a pencil! She studied fine art at South Kent College and Canterbury Christchurch University, and currently specializes in closely observed paintings and portraiture.  Keen to encourage other artists she runs a weekly life drawing class. Her work has been exhibited in Whitstable, Ashford and Lille, and she has fulfilled several portrait commissions.

 

Jenny Fraser is a skilled painter and print maker who has exhibited at the Horsebridge Gallery, Whitstable. Her work is in several private collections.

 

Andy Mason – Wood art and artist turning.  Andy has long been interested in wood and has been woodturning for over 20 years. His recent focus is on artistic turning and carving.  He has exhibited at Great Missenden, where his pieces won ‘Best in Show’ and at the ‘Wizardry in Wood’ exhibitions held by the Worshipful Company of Turners in London where his work has won both the Felix Levy prize and the AWGB Plain Turning Competition.

 

Jack Lynn graduated from Brighton University with a degree in Moving Image. He currently works for a film company in London, and as a photographer for weddings and events and for a Brighton magazine.

 

Joan Fairhurst is a painter who has recently begun producing pottery based on natural forms with muted glazes.
