We are sorry to inform you that the Fishslab Gallery, Beach Creative and Creek Creative have made the decision to postpone the MAP collaborative 3 Gallery project for a second time.
We aim however to be able to do the shows at the same time next year 2022 and will plan accordingly.
We will be in touch as soon as our collective future has some clarity.
Best wishes, from the MAP team.

As we send this out to you, we are living in uncertain times which makes future planning challenging. Our latest news is that yet again we have had to close the Gallery. We are not sure for how long, but we are hoping that with the vaccine underway, we may be able to do our MAP show as promised in April. We will update you as soon as we know more.

We are happy to be supporting ‘Catching Lives’ with their upcoming Art Auction on 3rd December 2020 to support the homeless. This is a great opportunity to give back and to show your artwork. If this is something you may be interested in please read the details below!
“This year is Catching Lives ( http://www.catchinglives.org/ ) 10th anniversary so to celebrate and raise some much needed funds we will be hosting a live online auction on the 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 with Keith Brymer Jones as our Auctioneer, this will be for between 15-20 pieces of work. All other work will be auctioned online through using https://www.jumblebee.co.uk/site/ in the week preceding the live auction.
If you would like to take part and are happy to donate a piece of work please email me (𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐦 – 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬@𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬.𝐨𝐫𝐠) with 𝟐-𝟑 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 of the work with title, description, dimensions, materials and the minimum you would be happy for your work to sell for (if you are happy for us to set the start price at zero let me know). All information about the work would need to be in by the 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫. All money raised will go towards supporting the homeless and rough sleepers in East Kent. Please feel free to forward this to anyone you think might be happy to contribute.”

‘FISHSLAB BOOKINGS 2021 – another busy morning taking bookings for 2021 – thank you to everyone for their calls and their patience getting through. We are delighted to say we are nearly fully booked – there are a few weeks left, please ring for details. If you are interested please contact Amanda, details on the website. If you weren’t able to get the week you wanted please email email@example.com to be put on the waiting list.’
We would like to thank you all for your continued support of the gallery during what has been a very tough year for everyone, we are delighted to be back open and just as delighted to announce that we will be taking bookings for The Fishslab Gallery for 2021 from 9am on 1st August 2020; the number to contact is 07947 216787.
Last year we received some feedback that the process of booking on 1st August is very difficult as the phone is constantly engaged; we appreciate how frustrating this is and have considered if there are better options available to us. However, we have decided that this remains the fairest and simplest process and therefore it will continue unchanged. We apologise in advance if you are unable to get through but can reassure you that calls are answered in the order they are received so it really is just about luck!
We hope that we will receive lots of interest for 2021, thank you for your continued support of the gallery as exhibitors and visitors. Please note, when we had to close in 2020 many artists were unable to exhibit. To recognise this they have been given the opportunity to pre-book for 2021; this means we have fewer weeks available than normal and expect to be fully booked even quicker. We will keep our website updated with the status of bookings.
